The North Durban Honorary Officers will be hosting an evening event at the Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve, in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of South Africa.

The North Durban Honorary Officers will be hosting an evening event at the Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve, in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of South Africa an on Saturday 4 July 2026 at 17h30. There will be a talk and guided walk through the reserve, starting at sunset and continuing into the night. That will be followed by a talk, and stargazing using the telescopes of members of the Astronomical Society. The entrance fee for the event is R50 for adults and R20 for children, and the event is limited to 50 people.
